The ELCH PRO Fire Rated group contains four specialised products for domestic and commercial building applications. FR Silicone and FR Intumescent Acrylic sealants are both tested to BS 476:part 20 and fire rated to 4 hours. FR Acoustic Sealant is also sound tested to a value of 55dBA and is supplied in large volume packs. FR Polyurethane B1 Foam is fire rated between firm, mineral construction substrates and in this application meets the requirements of building material class B1 according to DIN 4102 part 1.

Description A fire rated, neutral curing silicone sealant suitable for most movement joints. Excellent primerless adhesion to most building substrates. Low smoke. 4 hour fire rating - tested in accordance with BS 476 : part 20 (1987). Applications include: Fire rated sealing in construction and glazing, curtain walls, panels, air ducts, cable or piping passages, masonry, metal and PVC joinery.

Description A fire rated, intumescent acrylic sealant that cures to form a durable, flexible seal. 4 hour fire rating - tested in accordance with BS 476 : part 20 (1987). Acoustic rating to 55dBA. Low smoke, halogen free. Good adhesion. Applications include: Internal door casings, firewalls, acoustic sealing and partitions where a low movement, Fire rated joint is required - e.g. public areas, commercial buildings, sports stadia and confined areas such as tunnels.

ELCH PRO Fire Rated PU Expanding B1 Foam Gun Grade

Description A one-part, moisture-curing, fire rated polyurethane expanding foam. Fast application rate and excellent adhesion to most surfaces. Cured foam is semi-rigid, durable, has excellent noise and heat insulation values and is temperature and water-resistant. Conforms to BS 476 part 20:1987 on specimens of floor and wall mounted linear gap sealing systems. A fire-resistance of up to 4 hours was achieved, using some gap dimensions with incorporation of a mineral fibre core. Applications: Filling and insulating gaps between concrete and blockwork parts. Filling of gaps around windows and doors and small gaps in walls or cavities.
