Bases are used as a foundation for the greenhouse you can use various methods to form a base the simplest way is to purchase a galvanised steel base. |
Assembly
The four sides of the base are held with nuts and bolts and a corner spike once assembled you will need to dig four holes one in each corner.
|
Base Spikes
Once the corner spikes are bolted in to position use an adjustable spanner to splay the bottom of the spike out this will help with the grip in the concrete. |
| Base Positioning
Now drop the frame in to position with one spike in each hole. and arrange it roughly in to the desired position |
Levels
Support the base around the four sides and adjust the height by packing it of the ground to ensure it is level. |
Square ness
Now use a tape measure to measure the diagonals from corner to corner the size needs to be the same to ensure the base is square. Now fill your holes with concrete taking care not to disturb the base |
